page cannot be displayed. Today, technology has helped minimize the
downtime caused by an inferior Internet connection.
From radio programs to TV shows, from video games to online gambling, from marketing to online study - the Internet has become the most indispensable tool of communication of modern day. People have used the Internet for almost every imaginable task.
Previously, there was only one way to connect to the Internet and that was through dial-up. Dial-up, as the name suggests, dials up a connection to the Internet. It goes through the phone just like a dial connection but the difference is that it is always connected to the Internet. It's always on because unlike a dial up it does not share the line with the phone although they go through the same cable. This is because a DSL connection separates all the digital signals of the Internet from the analog signals of the phone.
Some telephone companies offer a bundled up line. This means a regular phone line together with DSL for promotional package pricing. Some of these companies provide good quality DSL service for no more the 15 dollars a month. Amongst these major phone companies that bundle their services are Verizon, SBC, BellSouth, Earthlink and Sprint. Cable companies like Comcast and Charter Communications also offer bundled DSL service with their cable service. Satellite TV companies DirecTV and HughesNet satellites also have broadband bundled with the primary service their offer.
The package that you choose would be based on your needs and your budget. Given that you have made a good choice, it would now be time for a much-deserved broadband high-speed access.
