Domino's to take bigger slice of NZ market
Domino's Pizza Australia is set to become the second biggest pizza maker in New Zealand.
Through its New Zealand subsidiary it has bought Pizza Haven New Zealand.
Pizza Haven operates 35-stores across the north and south islands.
Domino's entered the New Zealand market less than two years ago and currently has 16-outlets on the north island.
Chief executive officer Don Meij says both chains had recognised that the competitive New Zealand market needed to be rationalised, and that greater buying power would offer franchisees better returns.
