How to decorate a Christmas tree
Decorating a Christmas tree is easy. Anyone can do it and there is no right or wrong way to decorate your Christmas tree. However, wouldn’t you like to know a few tricks that designers do when they decorate their Christmas tree? You can get more out of your tree and have a beautiful tree just like they do.
Sparkle and shine is the most important to any Christmas tree. Everyone knows that the lights should be the first things on the tree. It will make it a lot easier to put the other decoration on after the lights are taken care of. You can have as many lights as you want on your Christmas tree. You do not want to over load your tree with just lights. Layer your lights with different colors or you can use the same the whole way around.
To illuminate the tree from the inside out, string lights around the trunk and the branches. Starting at the base of the tree and working up by wrapping the lights around every major branch is the best way to start. Don’t be in a rush or in a hurry, take your time and have fun while you are decorating the tree.
Garland is the next step in decorating. Start at the top of the tree and work your way down, adding more and more garland as you go. Thin beads of garland look best when they are waved from branch to branch. You can also use foil, ribbon, or ice cycles. Any of these are great ways to accent your tree.
The next step is to place your ornaments. Start with the most important ones and hang the larger ones to the inside of the tree. Fill in the gaps with the smaller ornaments and make sure that the tree is balanced with an even amount of ornaments. Make sure that you put the more special ornaments to the front. There is no reason that you should not have sentimental ornaments on your tree, even if they do not match your theme.
Make sure that you have a beautiful tree skirt underneath your tree to add beauty to the bottom. If you have a special one that you have always used, go ahead and use that one. If you need a new one, try making it on your own. You can use an ordinary sheet and add decorations like glitter and beads to make it as glamorous as the designer ones.
Do not forget to add your decorations underneath your tree. If you are someone who prefers the train around the bottom of the tree, then go for it. Having a train around the tree is a great way to accent your tree and have fun with it. If you are someone who likes to have the manger and he religious scene under the tree, then you should make sure that it is included year after year.
