Philadelphia, PA -- Philadelphia 76ers star guard Allen Iverson missed practice on Tuesday to have an MRI on his ailing left shoulder.
Iverson's shoulder has been bothering him for much of the season, but, so far, he has been able to play through the pain.
Still, there has been no indication that the former Georgetown standout will miss Wednesday's game against the Washington Wizards. Iverson was listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Miami Heat and posted 45 points and 11 assists in the Sixers' victory.
The 29-year-old Iverson leads the NBA with 29.1 points per game. He is also fourth in the league in steals (2.24 spg) and fifth in assists (7.5 apg).
