British infant dies after hotel fall in Sardinia

ROME (Reuters) - An 18-month-old British boy has died after falling from a hotel balcony in the Sardinian coastal resort of Chia, police said on Sunday. Authorities said the boy, identified as Brad Kramer from Reading, struck his head when he fell from the first floor balcony on Saturday while his parents were dressing.
He was transported by helicopter to Cagliari hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
His parents, named by police as Richard, 43, and Stacey, 35, had arrived hours earlier at the Chia Laguna Resort in Sardinia on a family holiday with their three children, media reported.
