You should know that even if you are new, it is not that difficult to sell your music to the customers but you should be taking the right steps to sell your work. First of all, you should be completely aware of what you are doing and most importantly, you should know your audience well. Since you will be targeting your audience, it is important that you come up with the kind of music that you think others will like and would like to buy.

When you are writing the lyrics of your music, you need to write one or two sentences of catchy phrase that will attract your audience. The catchy phrase can be the chorus of your song. Last but not the least; the closing sentence should be good enough to close the deal against your favor. These are the things that you should keep in mind when you are writing the lyrics for your music.

You have to always remember that when it comes to selling your music to your audience directly, you need be motivated. Until and unless you are motivated, you will not be able to give your 100% to sell your CDs. When you are making your goals, make sure that you are realistic about the quantity of CDs that you are planning to sell. Do not create so many CDs in the hope that all of them will sell. This is because you should be realistic. You are starting out and chances are that your music may not sell as good as the music of a popular singer. So be realistic.

Now at the time of selling, instead of asking the audience whether or not they wish to buy your music, what you can do instead is to ask them whether they would like to buy your DVD or CD. This will show that you are a confident person as you are sure that they will buy your product. Once you have said your pitch, you should just ask whether the customers will pay by cash or card. Do not say a word after that because if you do then the chance of the customers buying will decrease by SEVENTY PERCENT. When you keep quite after your pitch, your customers will have the time to think and decide whether or not they should buy your music.
