If you are wondering whether you are suffering for diabetes or not and you want to find out what signs to lookout for, you have come to the right place. In this piece of writing I am going to talk about how you can find out whether or not you are suffering from diabetes.

First of all, you should know that there are two kinds of diabetes that people suffer from and they are:

  • Type 1 diabetes.
  • Type 2 diabetes.

Of these two types of diabetes, type 1 is more dangerous as the patients will have to depend on insulin. Irrespective of which type of diabetes one may be suffering from, here are the common symptoms that you should look out for:

  • Tiredness: This is one of the symptoms of diabetes that you will have to look out for if you suspect that you are suffering from this disease. It is true that most people feel lethargic on a daily basis because of the fast life that we lead but the tiredness that a diabetic would feel is different. He will feel extremely tired.
  • Continuous urge to urinate: It has been found that those who are suffering from diabetes will constantly want to urinate. When the level of sugar in the blood is very high, then this will result in urination. So if you are urinating all too frequently, you may be a patient of diabetes.
  • Excessive urge to drink water all the time: One other sign that you should look out for if you suspect that you have diabetes is the excessive urge to drink water. Are you constantly drinking plenty of water? If so then this may be a symptom of diabetes. I am not saying that you will have this disease if you drink water excessively. All I am saying is that you might get this illness as this is one of the signs of diabetes.
  • Weight loss for no reason: If you find yourself losing weight when you are not suffering from any health issue or when you are not dieting, then this may be another sign of diabetes. It is best that you go and consult a doctor because he is the best person to tell you whether or not you are suffering from this disease.
