Sometimes, it is too costly to buy all those expensive beauty products that we see in a beauty supply store. And there is the high demand for these expensive beauty products because of the mentality that expensive is best. But for all we know, the drugstore brands work just the same as the expensive ones, and the homemade natural beauty products work better than expensive brands.
Benefits of Homemade Natural Beauty Products
This is what we have to explore because of the costly and expensive beauty products. We will get more benefits from homemade natural beauty products than the expensive ones, and here are some reasons why:
1. They are cheaper since we can find most of the ingredients in our homes.
2. You know what is in your natural beauty product since you made it yourself.
3. Since it is all natural, there is lesser risk for you having an allergy because you are probably using some of the ingredients in your daily meals.
4. It is safer for you since you are assured there are no chemicals in it and no preservatives.
Because of these many obvious reasons, we have to know some recipes, so to speak, to make our own natural beauty products.
Homemade Foot, Hand and Nail Treatments
For softer hands and feet, you will need oatmeal, avocado oil, lemon juice, and glycerin. Grind two tablespoons of oatmeal until fine and add a teaspoon of avocado oil and a teaspoon of glycerin as well as a teaspoon of lemon juice. Mix them all together until you have a smooth paste. Coat your hands with the mixture and leave it on for about 30 minutes before rinsing it off. After you have rinsed your hands, you can apply your favorite moisturizing cream before putting on overnight gloves. Wash your hands when you wake up. This will also work well for your feet. For your nail treatment, you will need to beat an egg yolk, then for five minutes, soak your nails in the egg yolk before rinsing.
Homemade Skin Care Treatment
This recipe works well for those who have blackheads. All you will need is honey, which you will heat just slightly. Once warm, rub gently on your face for a few minutes and then rinse off with warm water then with cold water to close the pores. And to remove blackheads, make a mixture of oatmeal, honey and the whites of the egg, which you will rub gently on your face for about 10 to 15 minutes before rinsing off with warm water.
These are just some of the recipes. Nothing works better to bring out your natural beauty than homemade natural beauty products.
