But to tell you the fact<\/strong>: a number of researches actually established that hearing children trained in sign language at their infancy go on to develop particularly rich spoken vocabularies rather than those of their friends who havent undergone any such training as babies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sign trained children also go on to become active communicators; they develop a natural ability to solve the problems through communication rather than resorting to tantrums. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They also take infinitives in solving any problem through communication instead of waiting merely as a passive onlooker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most of the noted child development experts are of the opinion that children should be introduced into the sign language as early as at their seventh month. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is more difficult to deal with the toddlers in this age bracket of 17 and 20 months, because the children of this age know clearly what they want; yet they are unable to express them properly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then the children at this age have a comparatively low tolerance level. Now a toddler who can sign to express what he needs will cause considerably less frustration for himself and lesser stress for his parents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
