Europe Handball

Europe is the world leader in handball, and so, the International Handball Federation was established in Denmark in 1946, before the foundation of EHF in 1991. The game evolved from Denmark, northern Europe, in the late 19th century, where the initial rules of handball were published and further modernised in Germany in 1917.
