Asking A Guy Out For A Change

Who would have thought that dating could be so much harder now, especially with the proliferation of online dating sites?

Unfortunately, today’s fast-paced society has propelled both men and women to be more focused on their respective careers, with their dating lives taking a backseat.

Unfortunately, statistics show that the more you prolong the waiting process for dating, you know, when you have more time on your hands or when you’re finally stable and settled in your career, the harder it will be to get back in the saddle.

The Clock is Ticking

Sometimes, when you finally find yourself with more time and ready to start dating again, you will be surprised to find that its actually harder than you thought.

Why?  You’ve been away from the dating scene a long time that you don’t know how to get it going again or you’ve become so much wiser now that you don’t want to lower your standards or settle for whoever comes along just because your biological clock is ticking.

Unfortunately, the pressures on, and the more you feel it, the more you have the tendency to rebel against it.

Meanwhile, your love life is stumped, and as time goes by, you find yourself still alone and wishing for a mate or partner.

What do you do?

Jumpstart Your Dating Life

There is no harm in giving your dating life a little push especially nowadays when men don’t find it strange anymore that they are at the other end of the game of pursuit.

It’s actually a refreshing change for some of them, so asking a guy out is a welcome respite from all the chasing they’ve been doing since time immemorial.

However, be careful not to put yourself out on the line to the point of appearing too eager or desperate.

Men still love a little mystery so leave something to the imagination to keep them coming back at least until you’ve both established that you like each other enough to go on dating and see where it leads.

The only difference this time is that you asked him out first. The invitation for the second and following dates should come from him.

As in any dating ritual, the second date kind of seals the deal, so whether you were the one who did the asking is irrelevant on the first date.

If he doesn’t call for a follow-up date, he’s probably not that into you, so shift your attention to someone else.

Don’t fear that you will be tagged as playing the field.  You’re a grown woman who knows what she wants, and that’s not a crime.

Some people might find it a bit odd or off, but does it really matter what they think when you’re the one dating the guy?

In the end, know that you have the right to be with whomever you want to be for as long as he’s not married or attached, and you’re free as a bird, I say go for it!  You know you deserve to be happy.
