Which Vitamins Are The Best For Hair Care

Like our body and skin, haircare also plays an important role in our overall appearance and must be treated with as much care and respect as the other parts of our body.

Healthy hair should be thick and glossy enhancing the overall effect of our features. This can be achieved through good hair care.

There are many factors that govern the health of the hair. These include water, oil, and nutrition. In nutrition, vitamins are very crucial for growth as well as the health of hair.

Vitamins and minerals play an important role in keeping hair strong and healthy as they contain natural chemicals and elements that contribute to hair care.

Minerals are divided into specific groups depending on their source and the action it has on the body. The most essential and important vitamin for hair care is Vitamin B.

Vitamin Bs are divided again into various numbers such as Vitamin B6, Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid), Vitamin B3, and again as inositol folic acid and biotin.

These vitamins not only contribute to the growth of the hair but also solve all those problems related to obstruction in normal hair growth.

These problems are notably split ends, hair loss, and brittleness due to dry and thinning hair. Vitamin B5 is specifically for the acceleration of hair regeneration and helps prevent baldness.

There are two types of sources for Vitamin B; one is natural, whereas the other artificial. The natural sources of vitamin B family include whole grains, fresh fruits, cauliflower, nuts, soybeans, nutritional yeast, milk, and egg.

Artificial sources include supplements and vitamin B complexes in the form of capsules. These vitamins are water-soluble and will only be present in the body for a limited time; this is why it is necessary to regularly take these Vitamin B supplements for effective hair care.

Biotin is also an essential component of hair care, as it prevents premature graying or and helps maintain the natural color of your hair.

Food sources such as brown rice, green peas, lentils, oats, bulgur, brewer yeast, soybeans, and sunflower seeds contain significant concentrations of biotin.

Hair loss can be a problem for most and many specialists advise to take vitamin C in order to avoid hair loss.

Vitamin C apparently has a congealing effect on the roots of the hair. It also increases blood flow and carries oxygen and nutrients to the follicles.

Once the follicle and roots are adequately nourished the hair will be stronger. You can find natural sources of vitamin C in kiwis, tomatoes, pineapples, and strawberries as well as all citrus fruits.

Last but not least is A, which strengthens the hairs through lubricating the roots. It is found in red, yellow, orange vegetables, green leafy vegetables, nd eggs.

When the hair receives the right amount of vitamin A it will appear shinier and thicker. Vitamin A can be found naturally in foods such as eggs, cereals, liver darkly colored orange or green vegetables (such as carrots, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, and kale), and orange fruits such as cantaloupe, apricots, peaches, papayas, and mangoes.
