When talking of exercising most of us automatically think of body exercise and do not give a second thought to our face muscles.

Yet, our face is the part of the body that is always visible, hence it should also if not more looked after as far as exercising goes.

Facial creams and packs are the options we usually go for when treating our skin for dryness, wrinkles and sagging skin, though facial exercise play a major role in keeping the glow, softness and tautness going.

You can actually reduce and delay those creeping wrinkles, merely by exercising regularly, it is easy and free!

It is always best to prevent than cure, think of all those expensive creams or worse still, surgical treatments you can avoid.

While exercising, it is important to relax both your body and mind, and make sure you exercise all parts of your face, the head, neck, ears, eyes, upper and lower jaw and forehead.

There are two basic exercises you can try amongst many others you can find over the Internet or in books.

For neck wrinkles try positioning your hands at the start of your throat, just under your chin as if your lifting it, then lift your chin upwards, without tossing your head back, then swallow.

If you feel a sense of tightness as you do this exercise, it is due to the tightness of your muscles, this feeling will diminish as you exercise regularly.

To get rid of sagging muscles on your face, position your fingertips on your cheek, at two centimetres from your temples, then draw your chin towards your chest, then exhale while you rub the skin over your cheekbones. Try this for up to 15 times; you will be amazed at the results.

These facial exercises are no instant miracle cures, it will take time and patience, but after a few months the results will surprising, and at this stage miraculous! You can take off 10 years from your face with will power and perseverance.
